Today was the conclusion of the Simply Hired March hack day.
Hack
day is an opportunity for everyone once a quarter to set aside their normal work and experiment with a new idea. All departments participate. A few people are inspired enough to stay till the wee hours of the morning. Lots of snacks (and caffeine) are provided and consumed.
The result of all the hard work is a morning full of sharing ideas and even some complete products. This hack day produced videos, new job search features, weather forecasts, maps and much more.
A large number of these ideas will be implemented on to SimplyHired.com- stay tuned for some cool new features.
