When Will Things Get Back to Normal?

This is a tweet I made earlier today:

Today, someone asked me: "When will things get back to normal?" #whatisnormal

According to the dictionary, normal is an adjective defined as:

1.

conforming to the standard or the common type; usual; not abnormal; regular; natural.

2.

serving to establish a standard.

Upon checking a Thesaurus, synonyms for normal include:

Usual, standard, regular, ordinary, typical, customary, common, average, natural, habitual, routine, conventional

While I have not a clue when ‘things will get back to normal’, here are some thoughts for you to consider until such time may occur:

Need to be in the moment now and embrace the notion that this day is the day we have been given to work with. How will you spend it?

Outlook is one of optimism, options and opportunity versus obstacles and ominousness.

Realizing that today is a gift and doing your very best to enjoy, savor it, like it, and live it.

Making the best of things as they are and doing your part to bring about the change(s) you wish to see.

Accepting yourself and others, assessing yourself and the situation, advocating for yourself and those who are not as fortunate as you, and taking action to advance yourself – and others.

Listening, learning, laughing, and living your life to the max each and every day you get the chance to do so.

If someone should ask you “When will things get back to normal” what might you say?
