The infographics depict the best and worst places to find a job as related to the cost of buying or renting a two-bedroom apartment, condominium or townhouse in the 50 largest U.S. cities.

Looking to Rent? Try Long Beach or Los Angeles, California.
Both Long Beach and Los Angeles, located about 30 miles apart, rank highly for job seekers looking to rent a home. The Los Angeles metro area, which includes Long Beach, saw an 8.3 percent increase in job openings from July 2010.Honolulu, Hawaii is the worst city for job seekers planning to rent a home -- offering the highest median rental price and some of the lowest job opening numbers.Looking to Buy? Stay Away from New York City.
New York City claims both the highest median listing price and the largest number of job openings, making it a great place for job seekers -- but not necessarily for homebuyers.For potential homeowners, however, Washington D.C. is a great place to live and work.
