Terms of Endearment: What Say You? #JobInterviews

Name Going through a pile of papers in an effort to better organize my office today, once again I came across my scribbles of yet another list. If you follow my writing here on Career Hub, you know that I like (love) to keep lists. This list is not a list of great interview questions, although I do enjoy gathering those...it is simply a list of terms of endearment that clients and callers have "called" me since January, 2010. If you are a hiring manager, recruiter, career coach, resume writer, or decision-maker, do you have any preferences, likes or dislikes regarding how people 'refer' to you...or how you refer to others? As a professional, do you care one way or the other when someone refers to you using one of the below-stated "terms of endearment?" Does it sway your thinking one way or the other about them as a viable job candidate?

1. Hon

2. Honey

3. Girl

4. Sweetie

5. Sugar

6. Girlie

7. Sweetie Pie

8. Chick

9. Chick-a-dee

10. Chickie

11. Sunshine

12. Sweetness

13. Darlin'

14. Dahlin'

22. Dollie

23. Miss

24. Lovvie (sp)?

What terms of endearment have you been called? Or, better yet, what terms of endearment would you prefer not to be called?
