Recently we asked job seekers like you to tell us what their New Year’s resolutions were on Facebook. We wanted to know what you wanted to change about your life and how a new job could help you achieve that goal. We wanted to share some of those goals with you to give a deeper insight into what your fellow job seekers are thinking, feeling and going through this holiday season.
My resolution is to make my mother & father proud of me. I have been unemployed for about 2 years & a new job would help me prove to my parents that i can do things on my own - Angela R.

My resolution is to do something extra special for MYSELF…I’m going to go back to school and get trained for a better job so I don’t have to keep looking for a new job every season. At 54 I’m just too old for this. I want and need a job that is as satisfying as being a parent for all these years has been.
