Job Seeker Resolutions | Job Blog | SnagAJob.com

Recently we asked job seekers like you to tell us what their New Year’s resolutions were on Facebook. We wanted to know what you wanted to change about your life and how a new job could help you achieve that goal. We wanted to share some of those goals with you to give a deeper insight into what your fellow job seekers are thinking, feeling and going through this holiday season.

My resolution is to make my mother & father proud of me. I have been unemployed for about 2 years & a new job would help me prove to my parents that i can do things on my own - Angela R.

To get more physically fit and to do more for my community. Of course a new job would get me off the couch, computer, etc. and then I could afford to give more. - Patricia R.

Pass school with flying colors and move out of my parents’ house and get my own place. A new job would help me get the money to put towards getting a place of my own and a step in the right direction towards getting my life straight - Kev C.

My new year’s resolution to get my own place and be the best mother I can be. A job would help because I can do for my daughter. - Cassidy L.

To love and cherish my family with all my heart. - Shamece V.

My resolution is to do something extra special for MYSELF…I’m going to go back to school and get trained for a better job so I don’t have to keep looking for a new job every season. At 54 I’m just too old for this. I want and need a job that is as satisfying as being a parent for all these years has been. I have given of myself all my life and for the first time ever I’m going to do this for me. - Kathie S.

My New Year’s Resolution: I want to be a happy and healthy individual who will be able to support myself through grad school with a job hopefully found through SnagAJob.com. I really want my career in education to take hold so I will be able to spread my knowledge to others. Happy Holidays and Happy New Year everyone. – Alyssa M.
