Hi... Member since:November 16, 2009Total points:176 (Level 1)I don't want any judge mental remarks please so don't bother if that's all you've got.I started work on 21st of September,as a house keeper,at the time I were guaranteed it was going to be full time(30 hours)But now(And not their fault of course)there has hardly been any business,one week I'll have 6.5 hours,another I'll have 9,and another I'll have 30,not very good for someone wanting to rent somewhere as never know what hours I'd be doing each week.Anyway I quit today,which was probably a bad thing but when I started they didn't say it would e on salary(Being paid each month)nor did have they given me my contract.And the fact that I'm 8 weeks pregnant,I told my supervisor this yet she still made me cart big beds around,move heavy things etc.Is it still possible I'm still eligible for a rapid re-claim on job seekers allowance?I have made an appointment with them and told them my situation,even I didn't quit I'd only of been sacked when I told the general manager I was pregnant anyway and because they're power crazed they'd of made some excuse up for sacking me.Anyway,has anybody else made a rapid re-claim and what are the rules for them??Answer Question

Member since:December 05, 2010Total points:900 (Level 2)you should be alright, a rapid reclaim is when you claim within six months of your last claim for jsa just ring the rapid reclaim number and they should book you in for an appointment, i hate being unemployed i had an interview today and it didn't work out. i have been out of work for 7 months now so i now how you feel most of my friends have stop being in contact with me because they think i am a scumbag because i am on jsa. i don't want this kind of life i want a job
